Graphite molded parts
Carbon brushes, carbon contacts, sintered bearings and a lot of similar products are made with our specialty carbon black. After grinding and mixing our carbon black with additional components (for example anthracite, petroleum coke, tar pitch or synthetic resin as a binder), graphite molded parts can be formed by compression or extruding.
In high temperature and controlled cooling processes over a long duration of time, the final graphitized product is formed. Carbon black has a high thermal conductivity and controls mechanical stability, porosity and wetting behavior. Selected carbon black offer this property, resulting in excellent homogenous distribution and improved compression rates.
