Carbon brushes, carbon contacts, sintered bearings and a lot of similar products are made with our Specialty Carbon Blacks. After grinding and mixing our Carbon Black with additional components (for example anthracite- or petrol coke, tar, pitch or synthetic resin as binder) parts can be formed by compression or extruding.
In high temperature and controlled cooling processes over a long time the final graphitized product is formed. Carbon Black have a high thermal conductivity. They control mechanical stability, porosity and wetting behavior. Selected Carbon Blacks offer this property, giving an excellent homogenous distribution and show good compression rates.
