What do we mean by “optimized dispersion?”

Think about adding chocolate chips to cookie dough. If you dump them in and don’t mix, the chocolate chips will be clumped together in one spot. But if you mix it thoroughly, each freshly baked cookie will have the right amount of chocolate chips for a tastier experience.

In a battery slurry, dispersion means how evenly the conductive additive particles are spread throughout the mixture.

Optimized dispersion = particles are well-distributed, not clumped together. This ensures every part of the electrode has good electrical pathways, which helps the battery deliver high power consistently and last longer.
